Pat says that horses are like snowflakes. They can look alike, but each one is different and unique. I know know this to be very true.
Avery is a very special horse. He was the pageboy for Left Brain Introvert! Avery found me when he was 2 years old. With such a laid back personality, he would surely be a good horse for a 14 year old girl.
As the years rolled on, we learned just how laid back Avery could be! We spent endless hours trying to motivating...or unmotivating "the grouch". I'm sure he had a blast watching how frustrated we could get trying to get him to move.
After working through level 2 ground skills in Parelli, and coming to understand what made his mind tick, we had a ball. He LOVED treats, like any true LBI would. He loved to just viset, and take long naps in the warm sun. He knew what time dinner and breakfast was at, and made sure to be in his stall waiting like a perfect gentleman. I'm so thankful to have had Parelli to understand my dear friend. He was certainly a once in a lifetime kinda snowflake.
